How to Set Up Two-Factor Authentication
Before you start
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds a second step to logging in, on top of your password. EPaySe supports both an authenticator-app code and a passkey.
Setting up authenticator-app 2FA
- Go to Settings → Multi-Factor Authentication.
- Start the authenticator-app setup.
- Scan the QR code shown with your authenticator app, or enter the provided secret key manually.
- Enter the code your app generates to confirm setup.
Once confirmed, you'll be shown recovery codes — save them somewhere safe. You can use one if you ever lose access to your authenticator app.
Setting up a passkey
From the same Multi-Factor Authentication page, start the passkey setup and follow your device's or browser's prompts to register it.
Turning MFA off
From the Multi-Factor Authentication page, you can disable either method at any time. The page shows an Enabled or Disabled badge for each so you always know your current status.
